Airport Operations Manager:Doha Qatar

We are seeking an experienced Airport Operations Manager to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in airport operations management. As an Airport Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the airport, ensuring the efficient and safe operation of all airport functions.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and coordinate all airport operations, including aircraft handling, passenger services, and ground operations.
2. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
3. Excellent knowledge of ICAO Standards and recommended practices (SARPS) on Airport operations and Aerodrome Emergency procedures.
4. Monitor and analyze operational performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
5. Ensure the efficient use of airport resources, including manpower, equipment, and facilities.
6. Oversee the allocation of airport slots and gates, ensuring effective scheduling and utilization.
7. Collaborate with airlines, government authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues or conflicts.
8. Manage and train a team of airport staff, ensuring they are adequately trained and motivated to perform their duties.
9. Ensure compliance with safety and security regulations, including emergency response procedures.
10. Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
11. Prepare and present reports on airport operations to senior management and stakeholders.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Minimum of 10 years of experience in airport operations management.
2. Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
3. Strong knowledge of airport operations, including aircraft handling, passenger services, and ground operations.
4. Experience in managing a diverse team of airport staff.
5. Excellent leadership and communication skills.
6. Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions.
7. Knowledge of safety and security regulations in the aviation industry.
8. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
9. Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays.
